Q: Where do you live in Ecuador?

A: I currently live in Cuenca, Ecuador.

Q: When did you arrive in Ecuador?

A: September 15, 2015

Q: Please share how you discovered Ecuador, and why you chose to relocate?

A: I saw a new clip on ABC news showing a crowd of Gringos from Cuenca laughing , dancing, drinking and having fun.

Q: Are you fully retired, or do you work remotely?

A: I am fully retired.

Q: What is your monthly budget?

A: $2400/month

Q: How has life changed for you since moving to Ecuador?

A: I walk everywhere, have no need for a car, eat healthier, and I totally love the Ecuadorians who are friendly and kind. I’m much more relaxed and have a good social life.

Q: Did you face any challenges adjusting to life in Ecuador?

A: No-except getting lost a lot; but then again I am totally nondirectional.

Q: Describe a day in your life. What keeps you busy?

A: Spending times with friends, walking my rescue dog, enjoying the outside and being grateful.

Q: Do you have any advice for other potential Expats?

A: Cuenca is a wonderful beautiful place to live.
